ARTISTS, CRAFT MAKERS AND DESIGNERS 2022

Artbeat logo on white

“We all really enjoyed the trail.  It was great to meet the artists as well as see their work.  They were all so friendly and enthusiastic when talking to the children.  It was really good to see an event like this in Chester, bringing art and the artists to the city centre and amongst the community.  We also really enjoyed visiting buildings which we would not normally have access to.”

Official Reportage Artist for The Chester Art Beat

Artists click here to see what your £125 entry fee buys you

Chester Art Beat is raising money for Claire House Children’s Hospice! All donations will go towards art materials for their art room. You will see a Just Giving Page QR Code notice at each artist’s work station to donate.

At certain times, some of the artists will be offering the chance to ‘have a little go’ for FREE (look for the green hand at their work station). Most notably is the opportunity for the public to join in with returning artist Aleta Doran commissioned in the Chapter house of the Cathedral to make a beautiful mosaic for Claire House Children’s Hospice which will be installed in their butterfly garden. Aleta’s FREE ‘have a little go’ opportunity is available throughout the event.

PLEASE NOTE: Some artists will charge a fee for having a go as part of their normal work. Artists who are charging will NOT be displaying the ‘have a little go’ green hand.

Disclaimer: All ‘have a little go’ activities (free or not) are done entirely at the public’s own risk.

See the ‘have a little go’ signs artists will be displaying at/near their work stations below.
