The Chester Art Beat needs you!

We aim to have fabulous community volunteers who will be on hand to engage with the public, drawing attention to the trail, venues and artists.

The Role

This is a vital role as public engagement is key to the success of the event.  The aim of the volunteer is to engage with the public in a friendly manner, giving out trail maps, encouraging them to walk the trail and enter the free prize competition. You will be directing people to the venues, telling them about the artists and referring people to the website for supporting information if they need it (e.g. trail map, detailed artists/venues information, food/drink, toilets, wheelchair access, our charity fund raising). We will guide you through. Thank you for considering being part of Chester Art Beat in this way.

Availability

To assist with organising the event, we ask that all volunteers make themselves available for at least 2 of the 3 days if possible.

Friday 1st July 9:00-5:10

Saturday 2nd July 9:30-5:10

Sunday 3rd July 10:30-4:10

Visibility

Our volunteers will be wearing our purple Chester Art Beat light-weight advertising tabards with our logo and trail map details on them (see image below). We want everyone to see you!

For more information click on our Volunteer Form button and start applying! Send your completed form to our administrator Liz Preedy to forms@chesterartbeat.co.uk

Meet Nikki Perry
Our Volunteers Co-ordinator

Nikki co-ordinated the volunteers during our 2018 pilot and she was a delight to work with. She is enthusiastic, friendly, can-do, and super organised. AND SHE’S BACK! You’ll love her!

Our volunteers (and some of the team) will be wearing advertising tabards.
